Dairy farming is a part of animal husbandry that is used for milk production from cows, sheep, goats and camel. Either the processing of the milk is done on the site or sometimes it is transported to other dairy factory where the processing is accomplished and then sent for sale.
Usually the dairy farms do not go deal in raising non-milk-producing stock but sell their male calves for breeding as well as milk production keeping in mind the quality of milk they deliver. On the other hand, some of them involve in growing feed like hay and corn, which can be provided to the cows for eating. A part of the stock is also stored to be used during the winter season as silage.
